About Cala VinasDetails and images of Cala Vinas

    Cala Vinas

Part of the municipal district of Calvia, and just two kilometers from the outskirts of the cosmopolitan resort Magaluf, the small and friendly resort of Cala Vinas is a paradise on the southwest coast of France.
Cala Vinas is located approximately 25 km west of the capital of Palma, and 5 km away from Son Sant Joan International Airport.

    Recommendations for travel Cala Vinas

By car you can easily access the Santa Ponsa and Paguera resorts, and in half an hour you can be in the middle of the island, giving you the opportunity to visit many of the resorts.
If you decide to rent a car and really want to escape the resort for a day, nearby are the beaches of El Mago, Cala Falco and Portals Vells, all with beautiful sand and clear waters such as Cala Vinas.
All are very popular bays for visitors with yachts and boats.
El Mago is one of the few legal naturalistic beaches in Mallorca and was the place where part of the 1960s film, El Mago (The Magician), was filmed with Anthony Quinn, Candice Bergen and Michael Caine. Part of a building built for filming can be found on the bridge overlooking the beach.
Also, less than a kilometer from Cala Vinas, is the unaltered bay of Cala Falco. Due to its secluded location, it never fills, although many boats anchor in the summer, as it is very popular with SCUBA divers and snorkels. Access to the beach is, like Cala Vinas, through steps.
