Sanlucar la Mayor is a municipality in the province of Seville, Andalusia and Spain
this close to the Guadiamar Green Corridor, a natural care passage follows the stretch from the middle to the Guadiamar River. The origin of Sanlucar La Mayor dates from the Neolithic era, a cumulation suggests the archaeological remains found appearing in the copper and bronze ages.
The Romans named the settlement, Solucar, because of the existence of a model dedicated to sun worship.

The church of Santa María was built in the 13th century and the tower was modified at the end of the 18th century, in 1772, and still retains its old climbing structure. The interior images are mainly works from the 17th and 18th centuries. Located Calle Juan Carlos I.
The church of St. Eustatia is located at the highest point of the historical center of Sanlucar la Mayor and built on an old Roman temple. It has images, paintings and altars from the 16th, 17th, 18th and 19th centuries. Located in St. Eustatius Square.
The church of St. Peter is located in the Almohad walled enclosure and was built by taking advantage of some of the old mosque from which they changed the orientation of the main doors to suit the Christian liturgy. The bell tower is separated from the previous mosque, a unique style that is the difference it has with the rest of the Moorish minarets, which today is preserved in the province. The presbytery is larger than normal, because it is located on a canyon vault that was accessed on the interior streets of the built enclosure. Inside there are remnants of gypsum plaster. Currently, the yard is used to host evening concerts during the summer. Located in Plaza San Pedro.
The convent of San José, better known as Madre Carmelitas, is located on the old road that connects Seville and Huelva, being the main axis of commerce in the city. It was founded in 1580 by Beatriz, the daughter of Don Bartolomé Rodríguez, a member of a powerful family. Being a monastery, very few people have access to its interior, but one of its greatest treasures is on the main door of the monastery and not in a very good state of preservation. It is the magnificent faience of Virgen del Carmen, probably from the sixteenth century. Located on Calle Real.
Hacienda de Benazuza dates back to the tenth century and was built by the Moors before passing into the hands of many, including the Santiago Order. It was also a frequent home of Alfonso El Sabio. At the end of the last century, it was purchased by the family, Pablo Romero, until it was sold in 1990 for his current project in time for the 1992 Expo in Seville. Today, Hacienda Benazuza is a 5-star luxury hotel with a library, an 18th-century church and a 3,000-hectare hunting ground. Currently, the restaurant is under the leadership of Ferrán Adriá, from the "El Bulli" Restaurant.
The house in Cilla del Cabildo is an 18th-century civil building that has been restored and is perfectly conditioned for holding congresses and events. Located on Marquesa Viuda del Saltillo street.
The Almohad wall dates back to the 13th century, with recent actions and research on the area showing that there is a great wealth to be rediscovered throughout this sector. Located on Juan Antonio Mora Street.
