La Pineda on the Costa Dorada coast is a good holiday location for families and couples. It is a popular holiday choice for families with young children with long safe sandy beaches. This resort is much quieter than its neighbours Salou and Cambrils.

Pineda is a pretty sea-side town with fountains, flowers and a tree filled square; you will find some good quality shops to browse around.
There are good leisure facilities to enjoy, much of your holiday will probably be spent on the beach you can hire sun-beds and relax by the sea maybe enjoy a drink at one of the many bars, if you feel a bit more adventurous there is a variety of watersports available some more energetic than others!

The resort has a palm lined promenade; much of the activity is to be found around the sea front and the promenade, there are cafes, bars and ice-cream parlours it comes alive in the busy summer months and is the main meeting point through the day and at night.
