San Pedro del Pinatar is a city located in the Mar Menor in the Murcia Region (Spain).
San Pedro del Pinatar history dates from the early seventeenth century. Centuries ago this area was a large pine forest and the village he was called Pinatar. When in town he built a hermitage dedicated to Pinatar San Pedro Apostle (St. Peter the fisherman),
the town was renamed San Pedro del Pinatar.
In the north lies the natural park in Arenales - Salinas de San Pedro del Pinatar.
