Blanes is located in the southern end of Girona province at the mouth of the river Tordera. The resort has 4 km of coastal beaches, the most common being S `Abanell and Platja de Blanes. Blanes resort is a famous destination more relaxed than Lloret de Mar and Tossa de Mar, the beaches are less crowded.
