It is located in the highest part of the valley Aran (Naut Aran), and pallars sobirà (Valls d'Aneu). It has long and broad ski runs, some through the trees. It is divided into three different areas,
Baqueira, Beret and Bonaigua. Due to its position on the west and north of the Pyrenees, Atlantic climate and therefore Baqueira-Beret resort has a good snow record throughout the winter.
In addition, there are more than 1,000 meters (3,300 ft) of vertical drop and an extensive skiable area.
