Benicassim is a beach resort in Castellon with a population of around 20,000 inhabitants. Beaches, mountain landscapes, nature, culture and a great offer of hotels, apartments, hostels, villas, houses as well as the world famous FIB Festival all combine to help you enjoy a fantastic break around the Mediterranean waters of this beautiful coastal region of eastern Spain.
Geographically, Benicassim is divided into three main areas. The historic centre, the area which holds many of the holiday villas in the Palmas desert, with this being the second most important tourist area in Castellon, and the area where you will find all of the hotels, restaurants, campings, discos, hostels and pubs.
Benicassim is a municipality that blends the mountains and the sea together giving the opportunity to enjoy both aspects of this beautiful natural surrounding. The coastline of Benicassim has 6 kilometres of beaches made up of fine golden sand. Many people practice scubadiving, windsurfing or sailing.
