Ceuta is an autonomous city of Spain, located on the Gibraltar Strait between north African and Almina small peninsula in the east. It is bordered to the north, east and south by the Mediterranean Sea to the west and southwest with Morocco (Border 6.3 km), prefectures and M'diq-Fnideq Anjra Fahs, both belonging to northern Morocco.
According to the statistic from January 1, 2010 population of 80,570 inhabitants and a density of 4.240 place. km².
Its territory covers an area of 19 km², and people living in Ceuta belong mainly Christian and Muslim religion, but there is a population of Hebrew and to a lesser extent, India. Urban areas are located in the isthmus.
Downtown and older neighborhoods are located near the port and the slopes of Mount Hacho. Due to the strategic port situating Ceuta has an important role in passage through the strait and in communications between the Mediterranean and the Atlantic.
