Formigal has 137 km (85 mi) of marked pistes. The highest point is peak Tres Hombres of 2,250 m (7380 ft) above sea level, with a vertical drop 740 m (2430 ft); most of its slopes face north and northeast.
It is located 170 km from Zaragoza, 270 km from Barcelona. With 130 km of ski slopes, Formigal is one of the most modern ski resorts in Spain.
The resort Formigal in recent years has doubled its network of slopes, almost every year we open new ski-lifts in 2006 was handed national premiere ski lift 8 chairs.
By 2009 it wants aa connects a neighboring state, Astun, which will produce a network of almost 200 km slopes.
Formigal ski pistes are wide, several slopes for beginners. There is little waiting time, even on weekends depasaste not 5 minutes. A rich palette awaits Apres Ski possibility.
