Originally built a private urbanization with golf course Golf del Sur, Golf del Sur occupies resort 410 acres (1.7 km2), and is now a holiday and residential village, only a few kilometers from Tenerife South Airport.
Golf del Sur has greatly expanded in recent years and is now one of the major tourist resorts in Tenerife. Being located next to a golf course and marina, Golf del Sur has evolved into a quieter holiday than the average of its neighbors crowded Los Cristianos and Playa de las Americas.
Marina San Miguel is a new port built between the resorts of Golf del Sur and Amarilla Golf on the south coast of Tenerife. It is an active port providing berths for private yachts and other vessels, and allowing extensive tourist facilities such as yacht trips card submarine underwater.
