About Salobrena - presentation, information, photos and recommendations
There are two main parts of Salobreña; The first is the old city, which sits atop a rocky ledge and a group of white houses and narrow streets that led to the odd steep a Moorish 10th century castle. This is called "El Castillo de Salobreña" which is one of the main tourist attractions.
The second part of Salobreña is new developments that spread from the bottom of the old town directly at the beach. The whole town is almost surrounded by sugarcane fields on each side along the coast and further inland.
Salobrena | Salobreña is a municipality in Spain, located in the province of Granada in the autonomous community of Andalusia. It has a population of 12.684 inhabitants.
