About Yaiza - presentation, information, photos and recommendations
The municipality is bordered by the Atlantic Ocean to the west, south and east. In the west is the Charco Verde lagoon. North of Timanfaya National Park is partly in the city. The eastern part of the municipality is mountainous and Southwest Mountains Rubicon plain stretches to the coast.
The biggest town of the city is Playa Blanca on the southern coast. The administrative center is the city of Yaiza much smaller. The total population is 15571 (2013) and the area is 211.85 km2. Yaiza is approximately 22 km west of the island's capital Arrecife.
Yaiza | Yaiza is a municipality on the island of Lanzarote in the Canary Islands, Spain. It lies in the southwest of the island and forms part of the province of Las Palmas.
