Local festivals:
January - The last weekend of January is the feast of Petru Nolasco, the founder of the Order of the Blessed Virgin Mary of mercy.
February - The second Sunday of February is the feast of St. Anthony, the patron saint of animals.
March - The "Las Fallas" fire festival is celebrated between March 14-19.
June - In the evening of June 23, the fires of St. John take place, where on beaches, fires and fireworks displays.
August - The San Roque Festival takes place between August 15 and 17, but in reality it is celebrated for the whole month. The holidays consist mainly of street parties followed by bullfights on the village streets.
September - On the first Sunday and Monday of September, the people of El Puig celebrate the feast of the Virgin, which includes street processions of the Virgin of Puig.
October - Valencia Community Day takes place on October 9th.
