Vera is a city in the province of Almeria, Andalucia, Spain with a population of about 13,400 inhabitants.

City of Vera is one of the most important cities in the region. Originally called Bari it was located at sea near the town Villaricos. Arabs have moved to town on Espiritu Santo delalul, but a great earthquake destroyed it in 1518. Vera town was built in the sixteenth century.
