This eco hotel is the ideal choice for nature lovers looking to discover the unspoilt Gran Canaria, away from the hustle and bustle of the tourist resorts. It is situated in the mountains above the Barranco de Guayadeque', a vast valley that extends from the interior of Gran Canaria out to the sea, separating the towns of Ingenio and Agüimes. The nearest shops and public transport links can be found in Ingenio, which is some 10 km away. Playa de Arinaga is the closest beach, approximately 15 minutes' drive from the accommodation. Gran Canaria Airport is located some 12 km away.
The eco hotel is made up of 4 individual cave houses that have all been fully renovated with guests' comfort in mind. As they are underground, the dwellings remain cool in summer and warm in winter (all houses feature individually regulated heating units). The houses each come with a kitchen equipped with a mini fridge, cooker, cutlery, utensils and tea and coffee making facilities. Two of the houses also have a separate lounge area with a sofa bed, flat-screen TV, radio and terrace, from which guests can enjoy views of the surrounding countryside. There is a café, bar and restaurant on-site and parking is available for those arriving by vehicle.
The twin bedrooms come equipped with double beds and the en suite bathrooms feature a shower and a hairdryer.
Guests can enjoy hiking, climbing and mountain biking in the surrounding area.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served in the hotel's Tagoror restaurant, which offers set menu options. Located just a few metres away from the houses, it offers guests the chance to sample the traditional food of Gran Canaria.

Keys will be left for collection at the Tagoror restaurant. Free parking is available to guests and will be allocated upon arrival. Check-in time is 2 pm and check-out is before 12 noon. Guests are requested to inform the establishment of their estimated arrival time in advance and to note that there is no mobile phone coverage in Montaña las Tierras. No pets allowed. Smoking is not permitted inside the houses.
