The hotel lies at the heart of the Aragonese Pyrenees. The hotel is on both the St James Way through the Somport Mountain Pass, and the GR11, a trekking route that crosses the Pyrenees. The River Aragon flows through the valley, adding to the splendour of the natural setting. Walking routes, forests and lakes are very close by, and the hotel is just 5 km from the French Pyrenees National Park. Santa Cristina is 92 km from the French town of Pau and 160 km from Zaragoza. Candanchu and Astun ski resorts are 4 and 6 km away respectively.
The hotel is a unique Spanish Pyrenean hotel in a stunning mountain setting. Its personality and charm are defined by its impressive late-19th-century façade and its stylish neo-rustic decor and facilities. The hotel has a total of 56 rooms. Facilities include lounges, meeting rooms, a wireless Internet area, bar-cafe, a terrace with views to the river and valley and the restaurant El Boj.
